Fighting cancer is a tough battle and that is why organizations like the Access Community Health Network and the American Brain Tumor Association help fund research efforts and screenings in hopes of curing and preventing potential terminal illnesses. Members of both organizations join us to discuss their events to raise awareness on diagnostic opportunities and treatment services available in the communities they serve.
The ABTA is hosting its 3rd annual Path to Progress 5k Run/Walk on Saturday April 26, 2008.
The ACHN is hosting its Pin-A-Sister Sunday on Mother's Day, May 11, 2008.
