Submit a community calendar event

WGN-TV's Community Calendar is intended to assist non-profit organizations located in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana communities. This support is offered to local charitable efforts, with a primary focus on community events/activities for the attendance of the general public.

To be considered for the Community Calendar, an organization must be a registered IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Community Calendar is not available to individuals or to fundraising efforts for the benefit of a single individual.

Time permitting, and at the discretion of management, event info will be broadcast during various dayparts during on-air breaks on WGN-TV and posted online at wgntv.com. Other restrictions may apply. Email community@wgntv.com for additional info.

• Keep descriptions brief, following format.
• Submit at least 4 weeks in advance of event date.
