Memorable Season 7 Moments
Season 6 ended, shockingly, with Lorelai in Christopher's bed. Season 7 had two strikes against it: Lorelai was now with a man that most fans couldn't stand and the Palladinos were no longer at the helm of their prized creation. So Gilmore fans waited with bated breath for Season 7 to begin to see it'd fare under new leadership. Did it deliver? You be the judge...

From Luke to Chris
Lorelai tells Luke that she slept with Christopher. Ouch. Not our favorite moment, but definitely a memorable one, if only because it was so painful to watch. Did you feel sorry for Luke?

Tension at the Table
Given its rocky start (um, ending Lorelai and Luke's engagement) Lorelai and Christopher's relationship isn't exactly on the surest footing. Nonetheless, she brings him to Friday Night Dinner anyway. Meanwhile, there's tension between Rory and Logan when she finds out the "Bobby" he's been talking about is actually a girl. Read a recap of the awkwardness!

Romance in France
Depending on how you feel about Lorelai and Chris, you either adored or couldn't bear to watch their romantic trip to Paris. Many fans complained that this spontaneous trip and resulting wedding were totally out of character for Lorelai, especially so soon after her breakup with Luke. But Christopher supporters (the few and the proud) came out of the woodwork in support for this new union. Could Rory's parents make a go of it the second (er, third... er, we're not sure which number this is) time around? Stay tuned... Get a full recap of the French affair!

Two Major Breakups
To the relief of many fans, Lorelai and Christopher's marriage dissolved soon afterward, and she moved toward a cautious reconciliation with Luke. Meanwhile, as Logan's future became more secure and Rory's seemed anything but, he gave her an ultimatum. Marriage or nothing! Rory surprised us by declining his proposal.

Graduation
But we didn't have too much time to focus on Logan. Paris freaked out when she got in to every grad school program she wanted, and she even broke up with Doyle for about half an episode (fortunately, she came to her senses). Rory turned down a job in Providence, only to be turned down herself by the coveted NY Times internship. Rory's graduation was the big news in Stars Hollow -- so big that she got two parties.
