What's the drama: Turns out, Lucas missed shooting Dan on purpose. But he promises his father that he won't do it again. With Karen passed out on the floor, Lucas sends Dan packing and then calls 911.
While at the hospital, Lucas finds out that Karen has eclampsia, a condition that gives her seizures and endangers her unborn baby. Deb offers to pick up some personal items for Karen, and while she is at the house she notices the bullet hole in the wall. When she confronts Lucas about stealing her gun, he tells her what he knows about how Dan killed Keith. And this time someone believes him.
What's up with Brooke: As Brooke looks at the Honor Wall at Tree Hill High, her guilt about stealing the calculus test grows. She calls Chase and tells him that she has decided to turn herself in… the day before graduation. She heads to school and tells Principal Turner the truth. Just as Turner starts to tell Brooke that she's suffered enough (with the guilt and all), and she should go ahead and graduate, Chase comes running in and tries to plead her case for her. Yeah, he loves her.
What's up with Bevin: Bevin is thrilled when her parents ask her to bring her beau and his parents over for a pre-graduation party. But Skills isn't so thrilled. Bevin's folks don't know he's black.
What's up with Nathan: With his options pretty much out regarding basketball, Nathan asks Skills for some help. Nathan asks Skills if he can hook him up with that job at the factory. The job starts immediately. Nathan seems to have sunk to an all-time low.
What's up with Peyton: Peyton decides to take the internship in California. And while she appreciates Lucas' support, she tells him that she'd really like to see a little disappointment from him, if just for her ego.
What's up with Whitey: Whitey pays a visit to Haley to see how Nathan is holding up. She tells the Coach about Nathan's new job. Whitey tells her that he may be able to help Nathan get into a school -- but if he does, it may take her away from her dreams. She is willing to pay that price.
What's up with Lucas: When they realize that Karen's condition is worsening, the doctor decides to take the baby by Caesarean. They'll save the baby and see what they can do for the mother. A baby girl is born.
What's up with Haley: Haley visits Lucas at the hospital after his sister is born. She brings a graduation present for him from Karen. Karen asked her to hold it for her so he wouldn't find it. It's a bound copy of Lucas' book, "The Unkindness of Ravens." In it Karen asks him to follow through and finish the book. He didn't even know that she knew about his writing.
What's up with Skills: When Skills and his folks arrive at Bevin's house, her parents tell her how disappointed with her they are. She should have introduced her charming boyfriend and his family to them earlier!
What's up with Deb: Deb decides to tell Nathan the truth about Keith and how Dan killed him. Nathan immediately heads over to Dan's house and tells him what he's learned. But Nathan tells his dad that he knows that they are wrong--he's seen how he's changed lately and he can't believe his father would do such a thing.
What's up with Dan: Nathan asks Dan to look him in the eye and tell him that Deb and Lucas are wrong. If Dan can do that Nathan promises that he will stand by him. But Dan tells his son he can't do that. Enraged, Nathan tells his father that the day Keith died, he died. His son will never know him. He needs to stay away from his family and stay away from him. Dan just sits there and listens.
How does it all wrap up? After Nathan confronts his father, he heads to the graveyard to visit Keith's grave. Whitey is there visiting Camilla. He has a big decision to make and asks her for a sign. Then he looks up and sees Nathan. Seems Whitey has been offered a coaching job at a little college just three hours away. Whitey has decided to accept and he wants Nathan to come play for him. Buh-bye, factory!
While the Tree Hill High class of 2007 is graduating, Mayor Scott pays a visit to the hospital to see his niece and then he heads to the police station. And back at the hospital, Karen flatlines.
