Behavior Detection Officers at Chicago Airports
Latest weapon in effort to keep airports, passengers safe
May 6, 2008
The nation's airports may be equipped with all sorts of security machines but that may not be enough to keep passengers safe. The Transportation Security Administration is also using human beings to keep our airports and airplanes safe.
They're called behavior detection officers and their job is to decide whether or not you're a threat. WGN's Lourdes Duarte recently went to Midway Airport to meet with a couple of officers to hear about their job, and she explains why some people don't like the idea of behavior detectors.
