Larry Potash is currently the co-anchor of the WGN Morning News. Larry joined WGN-TV News in August 1994.
Larry came to WGN-TV from KOTV-TV in Tulsa where he was a weekend anchor and political reporter. Prior to that, Larry worked at WFIE in Evansville, IN as morning anchor. He also reported and anchored for KLMG-TV in Longview, TX.
Larry has been recognized for his achievements in broadcasting. He has won five Emmy Awards, including three for Best Anchor. The Illinois Broadcasters Association also honored Larry with two Silver Dome Awards for Best Anchor in Chicago, in 2007 and 2006.
Larry received his B.S. in Mass Communications from Emerson College in Boston.
