1 We landed here on a remote area of the Alaska coastline after a 25 mile flight across the Shelikof Strait north from Kodiak, Island. After a short hike across a sandy shoreline which stretched as far as the eye could, we found this bear feeding with her cubs on clams buried in the marshy terrain. Mountains rimmed the area and a massive glacier was visible in the distance. It was an amazing site!
