Earthquake Hits Southeastern Illinois
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter Scale hit Southeastern Illinois around 4:30 this morning. The center of the quake was near west Salem, Illinois about 230 miles south of Chicago and 66 miles Northwest of Evansville, Illinois.

I did not feel the earthquake today, probably was in deep sleep. My roomie felt the quake too and said that the door to his room started opening and closing. Our house is .located in chicago 60645
