Johnny KerrJohnny "Red" Kerr, former NBA star, is featured with Dan Roan in all WGN-TV Bulls Eye pre-game shows. He performed color commentary for Bulls games on WGN-TV starting in 1989, including the Bulls six NBA Championship seasons. In Chicago, Kerr's name is synonymous with pro basketball. "Big Red" was the first coach of the Chicago Bulls in 1966 and earned NBA Coach of the Year honors for the 1966-67 season when he directed the first-year expansion Bulls into a playoff spot.

A native Chicagoan, John starred as a prep at Tilden Tech, collegiately at the University of Illinois, as well as in the pro ranks with Syracuse, Philadelphia and Baltimore. His NBA record for most consecutive games played (844) remained unbroken until the 1982-83 season when it was surpassed by Randy Smith. Kerr is also one of the select members of the NBA club of players who totaled more than 10,000 points and 10,000 rebounds during his career.

Kerr coached the Phoenix Suns and also held administrative positions in both the NBA and ABA. He has worked as an insurance investment consultant and previously held the title of President of Kerr Financial Services. His book "Bull Session" was released in October 1989.
